Cozumel Ferry Information and Ferry Schedule to Playa del Carmen

Cozumel has 2 ferry companies for travelling between the mainland and the island, between Cozumel and Playa del Carmen. Both Cozumel ferry companies do have different departures, basically every other hour so every hour there is a different ferry company offering their service. For independent tours to the mainland, we recommend not to buy return tickets, as you do not want to be stuck with one company, which maybe does not depart on your returning time from your tour, returning to Playa del Carmen, as you may be forced to wait another hour or loose your ticket and buy another one from the competition.
