We invite you to experience why Cozumel is one of the top five dive destinations in the world.  Go to 100 ft. underwater and enjoy the magic onboard a real US Coast Guard Certified submarine as you make the underwater journey to Chankanaab Reef.  An environmentally protected marine park, Chankanaab Marine Park is home to a huge variety of sea life until now seen only by divers.  Your submarine dive adventure begins on board ferry vessel that will take you as you take on a 12 minute cruise along Cozumel west coast.  Upon arriving at the Chankanaab dive site you are transferred to the Atlantis Submarine where you will have the opportunity to view this underwater paradise through large windows in air-conditioned comfort.  Marvel at the huge variety of tropical fish including parrotfish, grunts, and groupers as your captain expertly navigates through magnificent 30 foot coral heads, all in air-conditioned comfort.  Throughout your voyage an informative, live narration is provided by an experienced co-pilot who will be happy to answer any questions.  You will not want to forget your cameras for an once-in-a-lifetime glance into this amazing undersea world.

A $2.00 Marine Park fee is not included in the price and needs to be paid in cash upon arrival.

Submarine Cozumel Departures and Duration:

Departures available from Monday to Saturday at 9:00am or 10:00am, 12:00pm, 01:00pm (CST local time, may be one hour behind ship's time if sailing out of Florida). You will need to sign in at least 15 minutes before departure

Restrictions

Wheelchair guests may participate if they are able to safely navigate a 7 step ladder into and out of the submarine.  Children must be over 36" tall and 4 years old.

Cancellation Policies

Cancellations of this tour are subject to 100% refund (no fees involved) if:

• Client cancels with minimum 7 days prior notice (by email, chat or phone)

• Weather conditions do not allow participation in this tour (operator's decision)

• Ship arrives late and we are not able to accommodate the tour departure

• Ship does not come into port for whatever reasons

• For any other legitimate reason please let us know and we will take it from there ;).

FAQ's

- I am not doing very well on boats, will I get sea sick?

    This is very unlikely. The submarine is actually under the ocean surface and the waves do not have any effects on the boat.

- Can I take camera pictures and movies underwater?

    Yes, and your guide will tell you exactly the best way to take pictures underwater. We strongly recommend speed film up to 800 ASA.

- I cannot swim, can I join this tour?

    Yes absolutely.

- Is the boat kids friendly?

    Yes, we have many families and groups with children and snorkel equipment as well as life jackets are available in all sizes. Kids love this tour.
